Last Thursday, I got a WhatsApp message from my friend and she need help to fix her laptop.
The laptop has a problem accessing the Windows profile. Suspected the Windows OS is already corrupted.
She also said the laptop is very slow, and what can I do anything to make it a little bit faster.
I suggested buying an SSD hard disk to solve the problem because her laptop already has 8 Gbyte of RAM. Just need to upgrade the hard disk to SSD and it will solve the problem. She agrees to upgrade the SSD.
She still needs the old data inside the hard disk, so I take out the old hard disk and checked whether the hard disk still working or not. Luckily the hard disk still can be read by an external hard disk reader and I do data backup to my laptop.
I buy a new SSD hard disk brand PNY and the hard disk size is 240GB. Reformat the laptop and put back the backup data inside a new SSD.
When I return back the laptop to the user. She happy with the result and SSD really help to fasten the laptop speed. Especially during the boot-up time.
